These guys are great. I've come in twice. Once for a brake line repair and the other for a muffler related did, and they are, again, great. Very courteous, very professional. Fair pricing (in neither visit did I at any point feel I was ripped off). I highly recommend them.

Pete is ALWAYS there for me when I need anything, big or small. He's very reasonable with prices and has never, ever upsold me or told me something needed to be replaced unless it absolutely needed to be replaced. He puts the power in my hands and I have always trusted him to be upfront with me. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and tell everyone I know about his shop. I'm so fortunate to have him in my neighborhood!

My son was in college in Buffalo when the engine of his 2011 Chevrolet Malibu blew out. He put the car in storage and returned to NYC. We decided to replace the engine and contacted Hammond Auto Repair to engage their business. We couldn't be more impressed with the excellent customer service and workmanship. Everything was transacted electronically (phone, email and electronic funds transfer). They took care of everything from retrieving the vehicle to making the repairs. We never met in person. When the work was done, my son went up to Buffalo, got the car and drove it back to NYC. We are very pleased with how the car is running. The cost for the replacement engine and other work was very reasonable. We highly recommend Hammond Auto repair shop! Thank you, Guys, for an excellent experience! Update: April 14, 2023 That car is still running well! No issues with the engine at all!

I had brought a hub assembly by for my fathers car to get pressed and Pete was incredibly kind and really took care of me. I highly recommend this shop for any car needs. Thanks again Pete.

Best place to fix your car. Just fixed my car yesterday, my car drives great!!. They are very reasonable with prices and I will always be back to get my car fixed. The guys are very nice and honest.

My CV axel had broken in half so I had to get a new CV axel assembly installed. They got my car in and complete within the same day. Very fair pricing, great customer service, and quality work. It’s the timeliness and service that goes a long way for me and most people. I will go here in the future for any car troubles and would recommend to friends and family.

I will never take my car anywhere else! Pete should be a Buffalo legend! He is fair and honest and he has never done me wrong. That’s hard to find as a woman driver. I’ve had a LOT of mechanics think I’m gullible because I’m a woman. Hammond will NEVER do you dirty like that. Pete is my favorite and I’ll do anything to support him and his business.

They are the absolute best!!!! The only mechanic I brought my Impala to. Always went above and beyond.....I never let any other mechanic touch my car. I recommend 100%. If you need any type of work done on your vehicle, don't hesitate to take your vehicle to Hammond.

I so happy I was told about this shop from my friend . Pete and his worker is amazing I called to bring it in to get looked at last Friday when got there his worker put it right on the lift so they can see the problem. He said he can fix it came back this morning dropped it off at 8 am and was done by 3pm same day. Picked it up and my car drives so much better they did amazing job. He honest and upfront too. I got quoted something else so a friend told me to go see him to get another opinion and he saved me a lot of money. Thank you guys will definitely comes back if anything else goes wrong.
